is it possible to DUMP L1 CDM's using Dumper??

For starters you need an Android 10 or older (but not TOO old) and not a Samsung. You need to root it. From there follow the instructions on the Dumper page. You might need to modify the javascript part of Dumper to hook other functions - I did. If you need help with rooting, this isn't really the place for that. Head over to XDA Developers forum. Oh yea, and make sure you don't try to use a carrier locked phone. You won't be able to enable OEM Unlock (required to unlock the bootloader for rooting) in most cases. I had to buy an older unlocked phone specifically for this.

Keep in mind I make no guarantees… just because it worked for me doesn’t mean it will simply work for others… there are variations other than the box that can come into play… different py versions, script variations, frida versions etc

so i have my T95 S1 Android TV BOX device, connected to home wifi not pc wifi, pc connected to wifi and downloaded frida server and installed and its running on the T95 And its rooted, im getting

Being stuck at hooks complete is not an error I’ve had to deal with so have no idea how to fix.
If the box is not loading anything then something has gone wrong somewhere. Maybe try resetting it and starting again

I would probably do a fresh setup, erasing to factory. If it shows only that line is because is not finding any processes at all let alone the Widevine process to hook the functions.
Also consider doing a manual install of frida-server from here:
https://frida.re/docs/android/
When downloading the frida-server file, make sure is arm and not arm64
You can connect remotely via WiFi using:
"adb connect ip_of_you_tvbox:5555"
You will need to enable USB debugging and attempt to run the above command before attempting to install Frida manually.

I believe dumping L1 is far more complicated than L3... Its like running a simple script. I think since L1 is hardware based it probably requires some kind of exploit to be available for the device which also means only certain devices are possible?Originally Posted by Dannyboi

l1 is definitely not going to happen on a device which needed it's bootloader unlocked to be rooted. If it's an oem approved unlock (See Xiaomi unlock https://en.miui.com/unlock/) or sony (I'm not au fait with current models, but in the xperia arc era, unlocking was a hardware hack and it wiped out the drm access.) you get a warning about certain functionality being unstable/unusable/insecure after the unlock is applied. Part of that insecure functionality disables banking apps from working with new secure protocols see any magisk forum over the past year for details, it's a big one. And another part is L1 widevine being disabled at oem unlock. Your wvdump with frida can't dump what isn't there.
Obviously someone has found a way around this, working l1 keys got dumped publicly by an idiot and revoked.
