    Hi there.

I'm using VCD Galaxy 2.7, and I'm trying to rip Transformers The Movie on DVD. The video files extract to my hard drive easily enough. The next step is to generate a project and create the WAV file that will feed the MPG.

When I get to the final step of encoding and play back the resulting file, I find that the sound is exactly 44.5 secs ahead of the frame.

I've used the MPG tools in VCD Galaxy to separate the sound and video, edit the video, and re-mash them together. The resulting mpg is great! The sound lines up and everything.

But when I burn it to a VCD, and play it back, the quality is pretty bad. Its as if I was playing a video originally meant for a small window blown up to fullscreen size.

If anyone can help me create a GOOD quality VCD, that would be very helpful. Thanks in advance. I hope to hear from you.

Try TMPGEnc. Use the template, and these settings.
    Hello.
