Use virtualdub with avidemux

Hi,

I make most of my editing with avidemux since its a very simple program. But right now I need to apply some filters only virtualdub has. So I did the whole job on Virtualdub but the output video is way too big no matter the compression I use compared to that of Avidemux. So I wonder how to use the both together like frame serving from virtualdub and have avidemux output that.

VirutaulDub supports all the same encoders as AviDemux. It can be hard installing them though. VirtualDub2 has them all built in.

I am using the same encoder (x264) on both programs but they produce totally different size outputs.

Then the filters used and/or the filter settings used and/or the encoder settings used are different between the two programs.
