dose anyone know of a site or know anything about controling cdroms
without using the pc? im trying to find a way of using a cdrom to play music and be able to paus play and stop it and pos display trak information with possably a seral lcd display any idears. the play back isnt a problem cos if you power up a cd rom then put a music cd in it it playes and audio comes from the audio outputs (but a paus or stop would be handy)

if anyone has any web sites or redy made pcb companys this would be a help i know of one which makes dvd players for the trade market using a pc dvd player and a controler bord in a metal box ??????
