Hi there, I'm very much a noob when it comes to this so bear with me please.
I have been converting some old tapes from an early 2000s Digital 8 camcorder. They are a DV file type that just show up in Windows as "file" (they play in VLC though). I plan to use VirtualDub to merge all these clips into one video, preferably without compressing it. I have tried doing this in VirtualDub, but when I open the joined file, VLC only plays the audio and I get an error message saying VLC could not decode the format. This is with "direct stream copy" checked on VD.
I don't really see why this is happening? Any help/ideas?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!
