    Alright, what exactly is the error "Illegial Stream Format" and at the end of a long long encoding I got another error message not exactly sure what it was but why would this happen?

    I think it's because you're missing one or more codecs... Get the nimo Codec pack

    You have Nimo code pack doesn't mean you have the right codes install.

    Anyway I think we need more details so we don't have to guess what might be your problems.

    I downloaded the Nimo pack and installed it on W2K. There was something in there that was an older version....Directshow or something along those lines. It didn't solve anything for me.
