Question how to download these sproutvideos

It turns out you can download those Sprouts videos in any resolution for free using method I described in above post #17. For some unknown reason, I can only download the video using Windows xp, I can't do it with Windows 7. The problem is, in Windows 7 Firefox 45.0.2, I can't play the video when the user agent is set to iPhone3. I can play the video no problem with default user agent, but without playing in iPhone3, I can't get the required mp code, so I can't download the video when using Windows 7 Firefox 45.0.2

Hello jim. I am facing a new problem. I have just brought the Tubedigger paid version. Now when I try to download the video with the same configuration as you said i.e. Chromium 3 (Ipad) setting I am getting a static screen and the video is not loading. Please help.

Just now I have noticed an interesting thing. The link that I initially copy paste into the address bar of Tubedigger is getting changed after I press the go button and I am getting the static screen again. I still downloaded the video but it is blank. please check the attachments.

Yes, the same thing is happening on my windows 7 with latest version of Tubedigger. Give me half-hour and I'll run some tests and get back to you.

Well, on my Windows 7, I am able to download the video with the latest version of Tubedigger with the default browser (first choice in settings, IExplorer). But yesterday on a Windows 8 machine, I had to use Chromium 3 iPad to download the video. This is all very confusing. On this Windows 7, if I use Chromium 3 iPad, I have the same problem you have (changed url to color bars).
First thing is try all 9 choices in the settings. This shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.
Next point: I just downloaded the highest resolution. If you want, I can send the downloaded file link to your PM (private message) box.
Let me know if you want it.
Lastly, you should contact the support on the Tubedigger website. Of course they will want to know what version of Windows you are using and the url of the Sprouts video.

Ok buddy I will do exactly as you suggest. First I will use all the 9 settings for Browsers. If I dont succeed, I will contact Tubedigger support.

Currently it works using option "Monitor Browsers" together with external K-Meleon browser.

If the api is enabled for a particular sprout video, the video file can be downloaded directly. The api setting is an option that is configured by the sproutvideo account holder.

In the case of your two videos, the api is enabled for the second but disabled for the first. To use the api for the second video:

(change 1080 to 240, 360, 480, or 720 if lower quality is desired)

For the first video, obtain the index.m3u8 url using your browser, adblock+, or other method. Use with streamlink w/hlsvariant plugin to download (livestreamer won't work with default sslv3 deficiency).

Thanks goodness the guy suggested tubedigger and I evaluated the trail version. tubedigger could easily identify and download sproutvideo.com private videos. It is a great tool and I'm happy with it.
