I have a directory with only a Video_Ts dir in it.

Tried it out with VLC and it's a valid movie. It played it okay. Sound and everything.

Used imgburn to make an .ISO and then went to burn it. Imgburn then told me it was way too big.

So I went to DVDShrink thinking to cut it down to size and DVDShrink says 'failed to read. Parameter is incorrect' without telling me what parameter it's on about.

How could I proceed with this little task, anyone know?

First off....the folder should be named VIDEO_TS.
Second....if it's "too big" then consider buying dual layer discs - Verbatim brand.
If you MUST "shrink" it and lessen it's quality, please reply back.

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

I guess I don't 'must' shrink it. And perhaps I better not. It is about 7gig now I come to look at it. It's just a kids movie and somehow I didn't expect it to be so big, was thinking it was just a tad oversize or something.

Will my old DVD burners in my computers burn dual layer or should I do two disks - will imgburn do that I wonder or is it up to me somehow?

Yep, the folder is Video_TS, that was just my typo. Like I say, it runs perfect in VLC.

Why would shrink give me that error, do you know?

what did you use to rip the movie?? rip the movie with dvdfab and then run it through dvdshrink and
finally use imgburn to burn your disc.

I didn't do it. Don't know where it came from. Maybe one of the kids did it from a borrowed or rented dvd or something. I just found it and looked at it and thought i'd make a hard copy and then I can delete it, save the space. then it turned into this little hassle.
