I just wanted to know what the best way to imput my cable signal to my card is...it goes from my wall into my cable modem....should i split it then put the COAX into the modem and TV CAP card or should I do something else?

go to your cable provider and tell them you need a splitter for your cable modem and TV. they will sell you the best one you can get. pick up another cable as well to run from splitter to TV. the splitter should be marked for modem and TV. I would get a 3 or 4 splitter for future use.
