Hi there,
I'm going to purchase a Terratec Cinergy 400 to replace my aged Studio PCTV. The new board is coming with WinDVR 2 (in fact it comes with 1.8, but there's a free upgrade from Terratec), and this app is supposed to be able to save more than 4GB of AVI.
I guess, to achieve this WinDVR writes some sort of seamless segmented AVIs. Will I be able to open those files in VDub a) at all and b) without having to append segments manually?
Have a nice one,

Hi there,
I downloaded a trial of WinDVR 2 to find out that it does not write AVIs at all. You may choose between MPEG1 and MPEG2 only as recording format. Those files cannot be openened in VDub.
Thanks anyway...
