  1. Hello,
ok I have a Dell Insprion 4100 with a Pentium3 @ 1.0 ghz. With 256 RAM, a 20 gb harddrive and an extra 40 gb harddrive. I have converted alot of stuff, but lately it seems that no matter what my movies end up having audio sync problems. Now I dont encode much anymore becuase I've been working , but I have an entire series of South Park and Family Guy that I want to put on DVD. I have a pioneer 104. Anyways my dad just ordered a computer with a 1.7 ghz Pentium 4. Will that make a difference if I use his computer to convert my movies. I use TMPgenc.

    Any help would be apreciated.

The P4 will make the encoding process faster but unless you can correct what ever it is you are doing the out of sync will continue. Are you ripping movies or are they D/Ls?

I wish I knew what was wrong with it

Is the sync problem gradual or just the whole movie is out of sync

  6. its gradual, like Star Wars is fine until it gets to the part where they get around the Ewoks. Those darn Ewoks ruin everything

More often than not, short folks just cause more trouble than they are worth. Once again, we see this proven true.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
