    Hello,

I'm using dvd lab pro 2 for authoring 2 mpg files in one DVD with a menu.
Everything seems to work. I clicked compile DVD and there were no strange messages/errors.
But when I open the video, the video and the audio are not sync and after 4 minutes the video and audio start to falter.
The mpg file works fine and after demuxing with dvd lab pro or DGmpg everyting seems to be okay. The menu works fine also so i don't know what is wrong.
Does somebody know what the problem might be?

    Greetings

How do you test play? Use a real software dvd player like vlc, mpchc and open the video_ts folder. Don't just play vob files. Still same problem?

First I tested with WMP. I have a lot of other movies with vob files. They are not a problem. I burned the DVD also and played it at a normal DVD player. There happens the same. It is not the media player of DVD player.

Then give more information how you made the mpg and the video and audio details like framerate, pulldown. It could for example be wrong pulldown that causes sync issues.

Or try author with something else like dvdstyler, guifordvdauthor, muxman just to check if you get same problems.

I found out were the problem is. I compiled the DVD without the audio and the DVD plays fine. Then I tried with the audio and the problem happens. I tried much audio extensions (ac3, MPA etc) but it doesn't make a difference. Does te ratio of the aduio matter? Which information do you want to have. De framerate of the video is 25 FPS, bitrate 7777 kbps. Bitrate audio 256 kbps. I can try the other tools.

If possible, give a try to other/older versions of DVD-lab PRO. The bugs of its compiler are well-known and very (in)famous.

Also, it's not impossible that another application is interfering with DVD-lab PRO, and only you are able to check this possibility.
