    What is the TRUE purpose of Remux/Demux? I've ripped 2 DVDs and omitted this step. The end result was excellent! Just wanted to know the real purpose of this step outlined in Dr. Mercury's site...........did I just get lucky with my rips?????

    As far as remux and demux, I use the to resynch audio.

    In reply....the audio was not out-of-sync when I ripped the DVDs. Is that truly the only reason to use demux/remux?
