I have just ripped Oceans 11 using smartripper then because it was still too big transcoded it with rempeg2, then made new VOB files by re-mux the .m2v file, which eventually left me with a VTS_01_0.BUP, a VTS_01_0.IFO and 5 .VOB files which were the right size to burn onto a DVD-R. Using nero and the guide here, I created a VIDEO_TS folder and copied these files into it, a AUDIO_TS folder left blank and then burnt the disc. However when I tried to play it in my DVD stand alone it wouldn't play (copies played ok before) but it will play OK on my PC but only if I point my DVD software to the complete list of files in the VISEO_TS folder. I just get a message on my DVD player saying "reading" then it spits it out. Have I done something really stupid?
