Convert PAL to NTSC?

There are ways to deal with that.

And a sample will be helpful to see what's going on. It's not generally a good idea to buy a PAL version of anime (if it's anime ). Maybe it's field-blended from a bad NTSC to PAL conversion. Yes, I understand you were told it was region-free (also implying it's a bootleg).

It was interlaced, perhaps thats why I see some ghosting in the video. But the original VOB file also has the same ghosting, not just my encode.

Yes I am aware that you can fix it. Ive only came across this once before though and someone helped me with the line I needed to add to my script. So sadly I dont know what to add into avisynth to fix the ghosting on my own. I havent encountered it enough.

and the ghosting is there in the VOB before I even tried to convert it.
