    The Audio on all my .mkv files are out of sync some worse than others

    Setup
    5m HDMI V1.4 cable going from PC to 40" Samsung LED TV

    Tried to play the .mkv files in VLC and media player classic

    No codec packs installed

    5.1 Speakers plugged into PC

    ----

    When im just playing the .mkv files on my PC monitor non of them are out of sync


    Any ideas ?

    Is it just mkv files? Or all video?

    And try just output through the hdmi, no dual/clone or extended monitor settings.

    AVI's are a bit out but not as bad as the mkv, Its plugged directly into my LED TV from my PC

    any fancy postprocessing in the TV settings could be a cause for asynch,..
