The pause key is missing... I see play, stop, record, backward and forward, but no pause.. Perhaps it is hidden, so tell me how to bring it up if what. So i can not stop the file where i want in order to split it - i have to guess where to put the cursor key in order to split it...

never heard of that program but the space bar is used for pause in most audio programs.

a lot of editors work the same way
try hitting the spacebar or the enter button
drag the playback bar down the timeline (scrubbing) to find a point
look under menu>file or view to see if there's a pause listed next to play and stop
    there's a magix forum...try there
if all else fails, read the directions...especially keyboard shortcuts

Magix Movie Edit has no "pause" button either....sometimes annoying. Hopefully their audio editor has the same "zoom" type function where you can really zoom in to look at the waveform.
