I'm talking about regular Hulu, not Hulu Plus. I am on the PlayOn trial and its ok but Hulu is really all I want it for so the price seems steep. Is there a free alternative? Thanks

I don't think so. Tversity requires the pro version($40) and ps3 media server has not such support, see http://www.ps3mediaserver.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=433 .

I currently run the free version of Tversity which includes Youtube. If I want to watch a youtube clip on my tv I have to:
-go to my pc that has Tversity on it
-go to youtube, search for the video I want
-click the "add" button in the Tversity toolbar in my browser
Is this how Hulu would work in Tversity if I bought the pro version or could I just browse hulu channels right on the PS3 the way I can with PlayOn? Thanks. -
Nevermind, got my answer here. Seems like a major PITA. I think I will consider buying PlayOn. Thanks.

Might be good news for you: PS3 System Software update v3.70 adds TV apps like VUDU, Hulu, Netflix, etc. directly onto the PS3 itself.
