I bought the AC Ryan without a wireless adapter. My internet router is downstairs, too awkward to connect an ethernet cable to. However my PC is only about a metre away from where my AC Ryan will be kept.
Is it possible to just connect my PC to the PlayOn with a crossover cable and stream content that way, or do I need to buy another hub?

At only a meter away, why not connect your PC directly to the TV?
Have a good one,
