    Hi, all

Please help: I need some software to make an anaglyph 3D video out of my sister's wedding footage. It'll be her present so I need some tool that will make a high quality conversion as a result. Heard it's possible to do in Adobe After Effects, but actually never used this program before (anyone here use it?). Also on some other forum I was recommended 3D Video Converter, which is said to convert any video format to anaglyph 3D. But I don't know..Has anyone tried it? Or maybe someone can suggest some other software for my 3D issue? Thanks

Did you shoot the wedding in 3D? Aka, 2 cameras/images?

If not, you're in for a HUGE disappointment!

2D->3D conversion is primarily an exhausting & painstaking process, done by people who understand all the pitfalls.
If it's taking Lucas 18 months to re-output StarWars Episode1 in 3D, using a nearly unlimited budget and armies of staff, why would you think that your project would take so much less, even if you put up with lesser quality?

Tell you what, open up a still from the wedding in Photoshop.
Select each z-space region and save it to its own layer.
Create a copy for Left and for Right.
Use HIT (on each copy of each layer) to simulate the distances, while painting in occlusion holes.
Render each to its own file and then do a overlay/merge based on channels (R, G+B).
    There, you have an anaglyph.

Now, if you have a 2 hour movie of your wedding, you only have 215,999 frames to go...

    Scott

i've been playing around with the above software in demo mode and so far not bad, it even takes advantage of cuda enabled cards, it may not be the most professional final product but it may just be enough.

It will take you on the order of an hour per frame. You really want to spend the rest of your life on this video?
