  1. I tried for hours and hours to encode my Lilo and Stich AVI movie file to MPEG..I guess NERO is suppose to do it for my automatically, but it just freezes..can someone please help me?

    never use nero for encoding, it's crap.
    use tmpgenc instead. you can get it from the tools page of this site:

    Like it has already been said use TMPGENc, but check the AVI for junk frames in Vdub first, sounds like Nero is giving problems with a bad AVI

  4. Ok..I successfully downloaded the TMPEGnc but it said it couldn't open because the file was unsupported...what does that mean?

    install divx codec ...
    if you cant play the file - you will not be able to re-encode it ..
