There´s a problem with CVSX3. The analogic capture is broken. No way to solve this.

Try a Power Director 9, work for all captures devices (USB, DV, PCI, PCI-e, FIREWIRE, WEBCAM...), record up 25.000 btr on MPEG 2 choice.

In Corel Forum, there is a poll about it, "who uses analog capture?"

Yes, capture has been problematic for VideoStudio since version 11. This is a known problem. Until it's solved you would have to use other methods.

Nevertheless, I never believe capturing should be done with an editor. Use a lighter utility that doesn't hog as many resources.

What type of capture, card or tool are you using? If you're simply using firewire and DV, just use WinDV, which is free and very reliable, then input your files into VS for editing.
I hate VHS. I always did.
