DVDDecrypter IFO Mode - How do I know what cells belong to an angle?

I've learned quite a bit about advanced DVD ripping lately but I still have some questions. Right now I'm learning how to bypass ARccOS protection with DVD Decrypter. On a related not, I'm running across a problem with some DVD's I'm trying to RIP to my HTPC.

I have all 6 of the Star Wars films and have successfully been able to rip them to ISO and play them back with VLC. While ripping them, I noticed that each main title has 3 angles. I assume each angle is for a different language. When I rip the movie, all three angles are ripped as part of the main title. This gives me a 6gig ISO image for a movie that should only take up about 2-4 GB.

I want to exclude the other angles to save space. Is there a way to find out what cells I should save when ripping in IFO mode with DVD Decrypter? Or is there another way to just rip one angle?

I have used DVDShrink and DVDFab 8. They all compile an ISO image with all three angles creating a 6 GB file.

Some advanced level help would be appreciated.

It doesn't work that way. Maybe only the credits and that opening scrolling text screen are in a different language. A single angle may not be much smaller than the whole thing together.

I'm not exactly sure of the timing here, but I believe DVD Decrypter ceased being updated after the earliest forms of ARccOS. You don't use it to decrypt ARccOS protected DVDs. Try DVDFab HD Decrypter in Main Movie Mode.

I did that. I rip in IFO mode, Select the PCG, Select the first angle only, then rip. The resulting file is still 6 gigs of data for a 2 hour long DVD. This can't be right.

I just ripped all six films. I have the DVD box sets. Even after I rip it, and reload it, all three angles are still there. It just doesn't make any sense that a 2 hour movie made in 1979 would take 6 gigs of space on a DVD with all the sound streams removed but the 5.1. Maybe I'm wrong...

If you can still play the opening scrolling texts in all three languages, then you didn't do it right. Try something - open the IFO for the decrypted movie in PGCDemux. Does it list the three angles?

No maybe about it. It is unreasonable to expect a smaller file. You may be having a slight increase in data by getting multiple angles but most movies over 2 hours are going to be over 4GB and when there are few extras on a dual layer disc many will use most of the bits available. I don't have my discs with me but I don't recall them being small. Be a silly waste of available bits to do that when they want the highest quality they could get.
