I have a video (DivX 5.02 Compression) and the audio is out of sync with the video. So i found the guide to syncing on this site and did what it said, but when i went to save the .avi file it didn't do anything. It only saved a 12k file and that was it. So i changed one of the options in the video frame rate control box from the second one to the third one in the Source rate Adjustment box. But it did the same thing again. Could someone pleae help me out.
Thx a lot.
Here is the guide that i used

go to Step 2 of the guide you used
remove the checkmark in the box for Enable audio/video interleaving
click ok
and try to see if it plays properly
if the audio is still ahead of the video
check that box again
and change 500 to 0
in the box below for Audio skew correction
type in -100
click Ok
and try again
if it still ahead..change -100 to -150
and keep adding -50 to the newest number
until you've got it
if you notice that it now plays after
minus 100 from the number you set it to lastly
and add -50 to it
example
if you began with -100 and then got to -400
and now the audio plays after the video
change -400 to -350 and see if it works
as it states it's a trial and error operation
tho you should get it synched
