    My laptop used to play 720p with VLC just fine, but as of now it chokes HARD when I open it in MPC-HC or VLC. I have CCCP codecs installed, integrated graphics ('mobile intel chipset') CPU is 50-60% for any player. Windows Media Player handles it just fine with no issues. MPCHC desyncs within one second of starting. VLC chokes in the first five and starts to pixelate. WMP handles it fine even through alt tabbing with no skipping at all. Any ideas why?

    I turned off real time scanning on my antivirus and it went away. No bloody clue how that happens.
