i backed up my copy of planet earth in hi-def as a mkv files (11 actually, one per episode), but any time there is a lot of action going on on the screen it freezes and goes crazy (audio is fine), but im thinking it isnt hdcp problems because when the action is slow (a shot flying over mountains with no animals or anything insight), the picture is perfect. is htere any way i can fix it to where it will play smooth. i would like to think that my quad core processor would be able to handle playing the hi-def in vlc player. but any suggestions would be great. thanks!
