  1. My Lasonic portable DVD player has connectors that I plugged into the front of my VCR that then plays to my TV (only one set of connectors on the back of the TV)

Does anyone think this could affect the performance of the DVD player? I know they have some stuff to keep you from recording to a VCR (which it seems I could do) so was wondering if any of the DVD problems I'm having are connected to that?

    Thanks,

You could also hit up the local Radio Shack for either a Audio/Video A-B switch to share the connection on the back of the TV, or an RF modulator that will let you connect the DVD player to your antenna input and play on either channel 3 or 4. Personally, I'd go with the A-B switch it's cheaper and your AV quality will probably be better.
