is it possible to connect a laptop to a pc and use both their DVD drives to copy a dvd?

	You mean on-the-fly copying from a reader in PC A to a writer in PC B? Altho possibly possible in theory, as on-the-fly copying between drives in the same PC in practice hardly works, doing it across the network surely wont. But I doubt it's even possible in theory, the more I think of it, as disk copying involves a lot of direct communication with the hardware. 
 However, I have to ask: "Why?"
