I used TDA2 to author DVD from m2v and ac3 source files. There was some problem with one m2v file, when imported, got alert:
"Clip GOP length is too long for a DVD-Video. ... You can ignore this message if you are building an XDVD."
I ignored it. It taken near 8 min to complete authoring (11 tracks, 2.09Gb). I'm not sure, has been video re-encoded or not?

Probably not.
WHat is the total runtime for all clips? -
Note that if the GOP length violates standards that some standalone DVD players may not play the clip.
