  1. Is it possible to import a subtitle file in this Apple soft ? I can make different formats like srt, ssa, sst, son, ... but I wonder if it would work.
    Thanks for any advice.

  2. DVDSP has a subtitle editor and it can import subtitles from text files (they should be formatted as follows: timecode TAB timecode TAB title_text RETURN)

  3. Thanks, let's say I have a srt file that looks like this :

    2
    00:01:34,775 --> 00:01:38,006
    I'm in the Renaissance
    art division,

    I can convert it to DVD SP this way :

    00:01:34,775 00:01:38,006 I'm in the Renaissance|art division,

    Is this correct ?

  6. Here's a little software that should do the work, if anyone is interested :

    I now have a text file that should be OK for DVD SP, yet, how do I import it ? Do I need to read it in the 'Subtitle Editor' tool ?
    Thanks for any advice.

  7. Is there a file format that can be simply imported into DVD Studio Pro, or a 3 letter extension that I can add to my text filers. I am losing hair trying to rip and add subtitles from a japanese DVD that was given to me by a friend. Damn, this should be much easier on a mac, DVD SP is such an idiotic program. Help, please!!!

  8. kenj, yes, you have to launch Subtitle Editor, then open the project movie, then Import->Subtitle. BTW you need to get and read DVDSP manuals for more information. They are available here :
