Proble with Macromedia Flash

Hello. I have a problem on viewing Flash Player. I already installed Flash 9 years ago on my Vista Computer. Last week, I went ton Youtube to watch a video and it says that I haven't installed Flash. So I went to download the latest version of Flash which is Version 10. It worked. I can view the videos, but the next day, when went to Youtube it says again that I haven't installed Flash. I went to reinstall agin. The next day, smae problem, I have not installed Flash so I went to reinstall again and again.. I reinstalled like 7 times...

I have to install Flash like each day when surf into Internet. Can anybody please solve this problem??

What browser are you using? IE 7? Try use another and see if same problem.

I had something like this, and the solution was to do an uninstall and then reinstall. I think there was an older version that was gumming up the works, so it wouldn't detect the newer version.

Some IT person fixed it for me, after about 10 of them had no idea what was going on.

If I remember correctly, before they finalized Flash 10, Adobe was claiming you needed to completely uninstall all previous versions (and provided an uninstaller to do so), before installing Flash 10, not install it over existing versions. I don't know if that still holds true, though, or if Adobe still offers the uninstaller.
(I tried to check, but the Flash pages at Adobe were acting sluggish for me, for some reason.)

Also, are you sure you have Javascript enabled? Sites like YouTube can give you the 'you need to update Flash' message if you have Javascript disabled, too.
