Have a look in the subfolders

    C:\Documents and Settings\your_user_name\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\

Here's Adobe's explanation for the lso files and links that tell how to avoid/manage them. http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/articles/lso/

There is also a plugin for Firefox called "Objection".

I'm not terribly concerned about this form of tracking cookie, since only the site that put them there has access, and at most they appear to track your use of that site.

    I got 2 foldes in there: #SharedObjects and macromedia.com
Most contain a bunch of empty folders, drill down to the folders and some have 1KB files in them.
Not too worried, especially about the empty folders.
