RMVB to MP4

I am converting RMVB files to MP4 for my phone. I am using

I am converting 80+ mb RMVB files (22 min). The resulting MP4 file is about the same size. But I was able to convert an 80+ mb file (about 22 min) to just 30+ mb. I forgot the configurations and I cant do it again.

I tried Total Video Converter but it also amounts to 80+ mb files.

The small size would really be a great help. Can anyone help me?

I tried lowering down the bitrates. I even copied the exact bitrate settings of the lucky 30+ mb file. Still not working. There must be that some particular setting there that I am not aware of.

Lower the video and audio bitrate to reduce file size. If it's possible in those tools then.
