I'm transferring some VHS tapes to DVD and have a problem that I assume is caused by incorrect field order. The picture when viewed on the computer is fine but when viewed on TV any motion is blurred/jerky.![]()
My method is as follows:
1. I record the video using Main Concept PVR v1.1
2. I demux the MPEG file to mpv & mpa using DVD-Lab Pro 2
3. I edit the video from those mpv & mpa files using Cuttermaran
4 I take the cut mpv & mpa files back into DVD-Lab Pro and create the DVD
My question is: where in this list can I change the field order? Or is there some other step/software I need to use? I haven't done any of this for quite a long time and must be forgetting something. Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
.....Gord

If using DV then yes field order is BFF but if it is not DV then use top field first (TFF).
