    I am using my dvd handicam's picture which is (16:9) wide screen picture. While I am converting those pictures to make .avi file using virtualdub or virtualdubmod, the aspect ratio is changing to 4:3. How to keep the original aspect ratio of 16:9?

    Please help.

    Convert to a 16:9 resolution like 640x360 because 16:9 DAR (Display Aspect Ratio) in avis are not supported in most video players.
