hi there
a few of the movies im burning to disk with nero 5.5 are being desplayed in black and white when watching on tv? is this a PAL or NTSC problem?
i live in the UK and presume alot of the movies i am downloading are from the US and Canada. Do i need to convert to PAL in Nero when burning? most of the time im just burning, dont even change the settings.
This has happened with 4 disks now and its becoming a pain in the arse. your help is appreciated.
thanks

Chances are you are right and also unlucky as most DVD players and TV's sold in the UK in the last few years are multi standard.
If you are lucky enough that your TV can handle NTSC it may just be a matter of changing a setting on your DVD player to correctly play NTSC discs. Some players can output what is called PAL60. A Pal signal but at the refresh rate of NTSC. I suggest you check your player and TV manual and maybe manufacturers websites for info on your set up before giving up and converting as this is full of its own problems.
