  1. I have 4 avi. half hour episodes that Im trying to put on one dvd. Im over about 200mb, 4700mb. Is there anyway I can make one less quality so they will all fit.

Is there a software that will allow you to control the video birate and act as creator like neodvd?

Is it easier to make vob files or mpeg2?

Also will adding a menu add mb? Im trying to use neodvd7.

Drop them all into convertxtodvd. it will size them automatically. Or if you have already authored a DVD, use dvdshrink to reduce the size to a burnable disc size.

Yes but not substatially if your just talking still pictures or the basic menu layouts included in stock programs. BUT if you're adding motion menus and custom music and animation then you will add a lot more space and not to mention increasing the authoring time required to make the video_ts folder on the hard drive. The more complex the menu the longer it takes to process. Just a heads up there.

if you have them in avi, just drop all (4) into convertX and author that way

or encode them using VBR set slightly lower than max setting, say 6000 for max and 3000 minimum , the total size of all for episodes show allow for authoring with no modification and be excellent quality, depending on source quality
