i am ripping files from to my harddrive for burning from a DVDR...1 of the files gives me a Cyclic Redundancy Error...it is on one file..can i copy/fix that one file? also, i cannot rip the dvd..it's author advised me to rip it file by file then burn..i am pretty new at this

actually just opening my d drive and coopying each file to my desktop

If they are crappy media, there is nothing you can do to get the info off of the disc.
I had 25 Ritek and 5 Ridata discs that I backed up DVDs on and every single one gave me the same error and I tried everything I could to get the data back on the PC to burn to good media but it was a lost cause.
My only option was to rerip every DVD. -

However, if you are getting CRC errors, you still may not be able to read the parts with the errors. About all you may be able to do is salvage the rest. -
12 ep in this folder..this is a dvd r ..all copied just fine..except for ep 2..still getting error
