  1. New poster here i ran into a new problem and was hoping someone knew the answer. I have an older computer I have been using for years to burn media. The other day I went to burn a file it got 2% done and gave me a data redundancy error. I tired burning the same disc in a different computer and no problem I moved that burner over to the old computer same problem I then reformatted the hard drive same problem

    Welcome back.
Previous to this you last posted in May 2003. that's got to be close to a record for a resurrection

Fill in your profile so we have some information on your system, the type of burner, discs etc...

This could be a reading or a writing error. Check the Nero log to see the specific error.

btw) You posted in the wrong forum this is not news.

Defrag your hard drive. It would be helpful if you posted the manufacturer of your dvd burner as well as the media id of your dvd disc.
