    My Computer doesn’t recognise some files. Do you thing I need some codec.
    Files like, SOF, PMF,AT3, DAA and DEF and many others, specially those file helping dl programs.

    Appreciate your help.

    It's not usually codec problem, but a file association problem. Windows keeps a database of file extensions and thew program that opens those files. That way, when you double-click a file with, say .avi as the extension, windows knows to use Windows Media Player.

    You can change or add to this list by right-clicking on the file and choosing 'Open With' from the menu. From here you can chose a program to open the file, and if you tick the box at the bottom of the dialogue, make this choice permanent.

    But first you need to understand what the files are, so you know what, if anything, needs to open them. As a general rule, .dlls are not opened by programs.

    Yeh bro, i do know basic "open file menu" how to chose or permanent it. done opening with it, but nothing happen, it says can't support the file.

    Actually i dl F secure antivirus program, i open the folder and those file was there. Usually those folder have setup file to run the program. I thing those are fake files.

    also dl movie "300" that is "300 in HIGH DEF" i don't understand what file is this and what i should do with it.
