I captured a 3 hour movie and the result was almost 9 gigs with stereo ac3. I used dvdshrink to take it down to 7.9 gigs. I tried to burn it using recordnow deluxe but I keep getting "a formatting error in the audio_ts/Video_ts folders" error. I tried the trick where you use dvdremake pro to add a split, but the result from that won't play. I press play in windvd and it stops immeditatly after I press play. Is it when I used dvdshrink that messed it up or is it just that Recordnow is being picky?I also should mention that I authored it without a menu,so it would play as soon as inserted. Anyway I can fix this and get recordnow to burn it with no problems? thanks

What did you use to author it with? Did it play properly after processing through Shrink, before you burned it? If so, I would try ImgBurn, especially if you are burning DL discs. And I assume you are using Verbatim DL+ discs?

Or did you split it up to fit on 2 single layer discs after running through Shrink? I would have split it first while it is a MPEG in that case, then authored the two parts before Shrinking.

There's probably a reason, but capturing it with the proper bitrate would have been a lot easier.
