    I am using Nero to converse AVI into DVD and for whatever reason I am not able to get this done.
    I have done everything..

    Totally removed Nero with the cleaning tool
    Both the writers I have removed and re-installed
    I have checked with Gspot and Videoinspector for any hitches in the file

    What more can I do?

    it appears NOT to be a common mistake

    It's hard to help without knowing the actual problem you are having.

    My first suggestion would be to use a better tool...such as ConvetX2DVD. Nero is well known for having conversion issues...just check all the other "avi to dvd" conversion posts in this forum.
