I really dont know what to do...something so simple as a text link should appear just as clean and crisp when highlighted no? Well, Im using DVDLab Pro and I just CANT get my text links to retain their cripsness when they become selected. Yes Im aware of the 4 color spec for DVDs.

I have tried highlighting text that I imported from Photoshop as well as text that was created in DLP. Not sure if one is better than the other...but in both cases they are definitely not up to par with commercial DVDs.

Can anyone help me out with this seemingly simple yet increasingly frustrating task?

When you compile your project, what setting are you using for your Menu Compile Options? (Enhanced Menu Rendering (on or off), and Normal, Sharper, or De-jitter, etc...)

    Regards,

Enhanced + De-Jitter. De-Jitter because some menus had thin lines which I needed to stabilize. Too bad DLP doesnt allow to customize this setting PER menu.... Do you know what the smallest font size should be for text that will be viewed on TV?

Whats better though, to apply an overlay as JUST the overlay appearing when selected, or to have it added to the button (Visible Normal). I find that the closest I get to achieving clean text is if I set the overlay to 50% opacity....
