    Recently, I am having some problem with my firewire transfer. When encode to MPEG2 and author to DVD, I notice that fast viewcam movement from left to right and top to down, there will be several horizontal bands that flicker(laging).

    Is this a PC or videocam problem ? By the way, just sent the viewcam for service, and the tape loading mechanism was replaced.

    DV file transfer is just that -- check your footage before capture & after transfer to see if source has prob.. If source looks good, then prob. is likely downstream during editing or encoding phases. If it shows prob. after transfer only, then maybe that's the prob.?

    Thanks. I have not change any process from encoding to authoring. The problem shows up during playback on TV. I will try capture with my brother's Sony Camcorder and see if the problem is there.

    BTW, the problem goes away when I transfer using my LG DVD recorder via composite input.

    @aitian,
    Not sure why you need the serial. I will let you know the first seven, E404611XXX. I mask out the last 3 numbers.

    @aitian,
    I never use the program in the CD. This is the serial # on the video cam.

    @guns1linger,
    It's on the TV. PC plays fine.

  9. If you see that on TV, then it is a camcorder problem. The problem looks like interlace related, and the PC DVD playback software managed to deal with it.
