	A specitic listing of current tuners is here. Old models should be checked carefully on Google for review of problems and solutions. Many early models had serious issues.

	I have a Samsung SIR-T451, and it works great. I found it on eBay.

	I have the following receivers:I am looking for an external HDTV tuner that I can plug an antenna into and then plug the tuner into a TV. The TV is HD ready.

 antenna->hdtv tuner->tv

 ** Hisense, USDigital USDTV DB-2010
 ** Pro Brand, Digital Stream HD3150Plus DTV receiver

 Both are great units, purchased early in the year - 2006.
 (my favorite, of course, is the Hisense)

 I like the Pro Brand, for its "digital" (numerical) signal strenth readout,
 unlike the Hisense, who is analog readout only.

 But, I love the Hisense, for its OUTPUT quality (seems a tadd bit better
 than the Pro Brand) and also, because it seems to keep the Aspect Ratio
 *even* over the Compoite and S-Video leads when plugged into a capture card,
 which gives it the advantage being captured this way, an HD source who is
 being broadcasted in Widescreen Anamorphic presentation, and retaining
 this format for conversion/encoding to MPEG in this format in same, and
 without resolution loss. A deffinate plus, if you can find a unit like
 this -- you never know when you might want to run the signal over an
 composite or s-video lead.

 Anyways. I mainly use/run the Hisense's component leads to my dvd recorder
 in 480i mode, which also keep the Widescreen Anamorphic presentation in
 tact as well.

 My setup:

 Antenna -> Hisense[component] -> Polaroid dvd recorder[component] -> MPEG

 Where: Component is separate R/G/B leads.
