    It seems that there is a 3rd service pack for XP, but according to cnet, it is now delayed into 'late' 2007. Everybody at Redmond is apparently still pounding Vista into some kinda shape.

    I'm wondering if this is fair to current users. We put up with the daily dose of downloads and patches, without ever seeing any useful improvement in XP. It involves millions of hours of user inconvenience, especially for those still on dialup.

    According to the new 'licensing' logic, I think current users deserve a better shake than this...
