Need Quick Start on Vegas 6 to DVD Arch

It's been several months since a friend showed me how to create a DVD from Vegas and DVD Arc. I want to create the simplest DVD I can. Can someone point me the right direction. I would guess I would bring up Arch and open my veg file, then do something. Do I need to render it in Vegas first somehow, then use the rednered file? Need some tips.

Don't need menus, covers, or anything other than the most basic DVD that will play on common DVD players.

I found the Arch Help start, but it's not helping at the moment. I've got a veg file and am ready to go.

Personally, I always render the video and audio seperately before authoring. I wouldn't trust DVDA to encode with the right settings on it's own.

No, what you need to do is slow down and stop looking for instant gratification. If you want easy answers, use ConvertXtoDVD. If you think you are ready for Vegas then you need to learn it. That means you taking the time to read the manual, look at the tutorial videos at Sony, experimenting on your own, and investing some time in the exercise. Just coming here and asking 'How ?' for every little task doesn't teach you how the process works fro start to finish.

all you need to know is in the manuals. Rendering would be a good place to start.

I'll post the solution another day. My friend worked me through it on the phone, and I took notes while performing it. Maybe 12-20 fairly easy steps.
