I am considering trying out VideoReDo but I have a question that I hope someone can help me with. I have three homemade DVDs that I want to edit out a few segments (excessive camera motion, shots of the ceiling, etc.). My question is: Can I import the finished DVD into VideoReDo and cut out the segments or do I need to take it back to MPEG, cut it and then reauthor the DVD?

Sometimes you can read the full DVD in VideoReDo, but if that fails, you can rip the DVD to the HD first with DVDDecrypter using IFO mode.
TMPGEnc DVD Author can import the DVD and edit it too.
