I've recently downloaded a movie but when I play it in WMP (same problem with Real) I'm unable to hear the audio.
The file is supposed to be a XVID and my codecs are updated.
Video is great. I can't hear any sound at all.
Of course other downloads are ok.
The file is reported to have a "xvid" and a" AC3" in its name, just in case it would be of any help...
Thank you
Giuseppe

Install ac3 filter.
Or use a player with builtin ac3 support like VLC Media Player. -
It works!
Thank you.
Any way I can now improve the sound? It's very very low and have to turn my volume knowb at almost the maximum to actually listen to it -
you can booost the volume in the ac3 filter settings.
