    Hello everyone

I recently purchased this dvd player, http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/124908
I have tried dvds and they have been as good as I can expect, good audio and picture.
But when I put divx, xvid etc files onto dvds and play them on that dvd player, the picture seems perfectly fine but the audio is extremely low and I cannot increase this with the volume control.

I have looked over loads of different guides and none of them have worked, I have tried increasing volume via virtualdub, it increases but the quality goes down dramatically and seems laggy. I have done compressions with the "lame codec", I have tried goldwave and everything.
But nothing seems to be able to increase the volume while keeping a good playback.

Could yous please help me as ive been trying to sort this for hours now without luck, and have wasted too many dvd-rs.

Thanks alot and if you have any questions, I will reply quickly.

Try this little script out to raise the gain on your AVIs.

The other option is to look for a firmware update on that player.

I downloaded your program and then burned the new video file but it was just the same volume on the dvd player.

I am using nero and buring as a data dvd.
I cannot find any firmwares for that player.

    thanks for the help.

That's friggin odd. Maybe it can handle AC3 audio better. Try my 2.0 to 5.1 upmixer script.

Read the first post. You'll need to install Avisynth and have .NET 1.1 or greater installed.

ok done that, it gives me an extra audio file seperatly.
So there is a new audio file without video and there is the original video file I put into the folder.

    What do I do now?
